The ACCDF recently organized a very successful Round Table Forum in the Washington DC area which saw the participation of scientific experts, Medical Professionals, Motivational Speakers, and Partner Organizations; who in their specific field of specialty highlighted the scary trend the CANCER epidemic is having in the Cameroonian community.

Cancer Awareness Forum - Feedback

The statistics are not readily available (but what is known is scary); the incidence is increasing by the day (but the level of awareness) is either not there or not taken seriously. One source says between 35 and 50 Cameroonians in the Washington, D.C. Metro area alone lost their fights to various kinds of cancer during 2012.
